ABS Plastic
Parts 3D printed using ABS Plastic are found all around us and we use them in our daily lives. From the dashboard of the cars we drive to the games consoles that the kids play with. Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is a thermoplastic polymer that has been used in various methods of plastic manufacturing for a long time.
Tried & Tested
Very often in the injection moulding and industrial 3D printing industries, ABS plastic is the material of choice. Below you’ll see why it’s clear that there are reasons why these industries and manufacturers are so inclined to use ABS.
Mechanical Strength
One of the most important reasons why 3D Quick Printing uses ABS plastic is because of its toughens and impact resistance. It’s great for jigs and fixtures, small batch production and one off prints to test form and function before you commit to production.
High Temperature Resistance
ABS plastic offers relatively high thermal stability. It can be used within temperatures of -20 and 80 °C (−4 to 176 °F) while still maintaining its mechanical strength and dimensional accuracy

Nylon With Carbon Fibre Strands (Onyx)
The Onyx material utilises Nylon and microscopic carbon fibre strands. Onyx produces a very strong part that can handle significant shock and excellent impact resistance. When уоu nееd tо make a part with extreme strength, rigidity and durability, this is always a perfect fit for the Onyx material
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
ABS is a well-known thermoplastic, used for everyday applications such as LEGO, remote controls, electronic housings and automotive parts.
Our 3D printers are accurate to a tolerance of 0.1 mm and with good tensile strength ABS is a great fit for your 3D printed part for many prototyping applications.
